The existence of event ports as well as state data would appear to make the ET interface more complicated than its TT equivalent. Kinesthetic subsystem This subsystem uses mechanoreceptors of skeletal striated muscles, tendons, and joints. It is responsible for acquiring dynamic information from limbs, which are highly important in manipulations. These include position, orientation, and movements in space. 

By merging information acquired from these two subsystems, the human brain can reconstruct more complex data, such as weight and inertial characteristics, or the shape of objects. This capability has fundamental importance in everyday life [56] and, thus, also for surgical procedures [57]. 

For any subsystem which is to be used as part of the safety system, and is acquired as a complete item by the integrator of the safety system, the following parameters will need to be established, in addition to any other engineering considerations.
