Abnormal dreams

Mirtazapine is indicated for major depression. Its side-effects include sedation and, less commonly, dizziness, abnormal dreams (rarely) and, very rarely, angle-closure glaucoma. 

Adverse reactions include asthenia flu syndrome dry mouth constipation increased appetite weight gain abnormal dreams anxiety dizziness drowsiness headache nervousness somnolence abnormal thinking tremor weakness and fatigue blurred vision. 

Adverse reactions occurring in at least 3% of patients include abnormal dreams, abnormal vision, asthenia, blurred vision, confusion, constipation, cough, decreased concentration, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, dyspepsia, flu syndrome, headache, increased appetite, infection, insomnia, lightheadedness, memory impairment, nausea, paresthesia, peripheral edema, pharyngitis, postural hypotension, somnolence, vasodilation. 

Adverse reactions that may occur in 3% or more of patients include abnormal dreams, accident, anorexia, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, ecchymosis, fatigue, headache, insomnia, muscle cramps, nausea, pain, vomiting, and weight decrease. 

Adverse reactions occurring in at least 3% of treatment-experienced and treatment-naive patients include the following abdominal pain, abnormal dreams, anorexia, asthenia, back pain, chest pain, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, dyspepsia, fever, flatulence, headache, insomnia, myalgia, nausea, pain, peripheral neuropathy, pneumonia, rash event, sweating, vomiting, weight loss. 

Adverse events occurring in at least 3% of patients include dizziness, fatigue, headache, concentration impaired, insomnia, abnormal dreams, somnolence, depression, anxiety, pruritus, nervousness, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain. 

Depression, abnormal dreams, weight loss, arthritis, somnolence, syncope, frequent urination... 

Monitor the patient for adverse CNS and psychological effects, such as abnormal dreams, dizziness, impaired concentration, insomnia, severe acute depression (including suicidal ideation or attempts), and somnolence. Be aware that insomnia may begin during the first or second day of therapy and generally resolves in 2-4 wk... 

Hallucinations, anxiety, confusion, abnormal dreams, decreased libido, neuralgia. Serious Reactions... 

Asthenia (8%), dizziness (7%), flu-like symptoms (5%), abnormal dreams (4%)... 

Anxiety blurred vision, diarrhea, vomiting, tremor, abnormal dreams, impotence, hypertension... 

Adverse effects include asthenia, flu like syndrome, back pain, dry mouth, increased appetite, constipation, weight gain, peripheral edema, myalgia, sorrmolence, dizziness, abnormal dreams, abnormal thinking, tremor, confusion, dyspnea and urinary frequency. 

Muscle cramps, fatigue, depression, abnormal dreams... 

Lamotrigine has been nsed as maintenance monotherapy for rapid-cycling bipolar disorder in 324 patients (open label) and 182 patients (donble-bUnd) with rapidcycling bipolar disorder (5). In aU, 265 patients reported adverse events during the open phase. The most common adverse events (over 10%) were headache, infection, influenza, nausea, abnormal dreams, dizziness, and rash. During the donble-bUnd phase 122 patients reported adverse events, eqnaUy with lamotrigine and placebo.
