With this book, we have provided you with basic information to establish and maintain a successful safety program and provided methods to integrate your programs into your management system (Chapters 4 and 5). 

This book goes beyond what is required by OSHA. Once you have reviewed the individual chapters and sample information, you will be able to determine what your company s safety culture will be, and then begin the process of making it happen (Chapter 4). 

This book is divided in four sections to provide you with a logical flow from where safety management begins and the cost of an incident, to methods for building and sustaining a safety culture, programs that support the safety culture, and finally methods that you can use to measure performance.
