Write timing

In Table 1 we compare performance data for reported MRAM and FRAM prototypes. The small Fujitsu FRAM is not a prototype it is in large-scale production and found in the memory board of every Sony Playstation 2, as part of the Toshiba memory system. The main advantages of FRAMs over EEP-ROMs or Elash memory are in the WRITE times (100 ns for FRAM, versus 1 xs for Flash and 10 xs for EEPROM), and energy per 32-bit WRITE (1 nj for ERAM versus 1 or 2 mj for EEPROM or Plash). Note that parameters such as READ time or WRITE time for PRAMs are dependent upon actual cell architecture they are not limited by the intrinsic switching time of the ferroelectric thin film, which is typically 220 ps [3]. [Pg.200]

In vectorscan systems, the beam is only directed to those areas of the chip that require exposure. With round beams, the beam diameter must be less than or equal to one quarter of the minimum linewidth, and to obtain adequate pattern fidelity, the beam must be incremented to at least sixteen positions to write a single minimum image square. Chip writing time can be estimated from the beam incrementing rate, and the average fraction of the chip area that needs to... [Pg.23]

When the two temperatures are nearly the same, stop and graph your data. Plot temperature versus time on the graph. Remember to write Time on the x-axis and Temperature on the y-axis. [Pg.355]

After 50 s, overexposure leads to a loss of contrast between illuminated and non-illuminated areas... Professor Atta-ur-Rahman has done a truly remarkable job in editing this excellent series of books on natural products chemistry which has become the world s top encyclopaedic series of volumes in the field. He should be congratulated on persuading the world s top experts in natural product chemistry, both structural and synthetic chemists, to write timely and comprehensive reviews on their various areas of expertise. [Pg.592]

Sasha thinks he has most of the material he needs the problem is in getting the time to sit down and write it. He had sworn off conferences to get more writing time then he was invited to deliver keynote addresses at two conferences, one on Drugs as Sacraments, the other on Drugs and Civil Disobedience. He is feeling sorely tempted by both, as he would be able to choose his own topics. (Personally, I wish I had the time and money to attend such conferences, never mind speaking at them.)... [Pg.1130]
