White Work

Many specific questions about conscious attitudes and psi remain. What sorts of conscious acts can aid the information flow from the psi receptor to consciousness Mental relaxation An attitude of expectancy Free play of imagery Occult exercises Will the kinds of procedures outlined by White work for everyone If there is some kind of activating mechanism within the percipient that sends out some kind of psi energy the reflections of which constitute the clairvoyant information from target objects The same sort of questions can be asked about what conscious acts make this mechanism function.

This bright morning star is the same as that which announced the birth of Christ to the shepherds. It is Venus, or Love, the "fulfillment of all," as Christ himself declared. This star is fundamentally the Sulphur (Sol) of the Sages, and it reaches the state (plane, or planet) of Venus (Copper) just AFTER the White Work, and from this one goes on to Gold. 

She says, "I am the ROSE of Sharon, and the LILY of the valley," thus revealing the fact that she is both red and white, although at first she announces herself to be black. Bond s construction of the character of Joe s mother locates her simultaneously as oppressed both in her internalised psycho-emotional realm and under the social and economic pressures of being a poor, white, working-class woman.
