Viscosity Analysis. Rheological analyses of the unground spray dried resins in dioctyl phthalate (DOP) plastisols gave the viscosity flow curves in Figures V-VIII. Characteristic data are presented in Tables II and III. [Pg.214]

Vlahos et al. [65] have determined the dimensionless ratio oG by intrinsic viscosity analysis for the A2B and A3B miktoarm stars in various solvent conditions. Considering the ratios ys and ys to be close to 1 for the particular miktoarms studied in this work tliey arrived at the following equations ... [Pg.103]

The homopolymer arms in miktoarm stars are predicted, by the renormalization method, to expand monotonically, reaching a limit which is dictated by the increase in the size of the other kind of homopolymer arms. The whole molecule seems to increase in size monotonically with molecular weight and functionality. The same behavior is predicted for any part of the molecules consisting of two or more arms of different homopolymers. This work was expanded with the study of A2B and A3B miktoarm copolymers. The dimensionless ratio 6q, which expresses quantitatively the effect of heterointeractions between unlike units on the conformational properties of copolymers, was calculated by an intrinsic viscosity analysis. It is defined as... [Pg.113]

Our aim has been to make a parallel use of some of these methods (UV-spectrophotometry, thermal stability spectrophotometrically determined, viscosity analysis) to study the modifications induced in DNA by known or suspected genotoxic agents, as Cr and Cr salts, mitomycin C, and methyl-methan-sulphonate (MMS). [Pg.336]
