1 Unique Performance Parameters and Design Aspects of Solid Electrolyte Cells 

Outstanding performance capabilities and design aspects of solid electrolyte cells are briefly summarized as follows  

These cells have demonstrated an open-circuit voltage of better than 2.1 V at a temperature of 300°C. 

These solid-state cells are best suited for high-rate pulse-power applications. Although no reliable data are available for these cells, the author can predict reasonably high reliability, especially at operating temperatures as high as 300°C.
