Inspirational meeting Usually emphasis is placed on courtesy, goodwill, and loyalty to the group, or humanitarianism. The objective of these meetings is to exert a favorable safety influence by encouraging yoiu employees to develop a greater civic and moral responsibility. 

Celebration of accomplishments in accident prevention Celebrations of accomplishments in accident prevention meetings are usually held at the same time bonuses and awards are presented. The theme closely parallels that of inspirational meetings.

The Summer Symposium on Mechanisms of Inorganic Reactions was held in June 1964 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, under the direction of Professor Jacob Kleinberg. It was sponsored by the Inorganic Chemistry Division of The American Chemical Society. Following the suggestion of the Division, the symposium was patterned after the Faraday meetings and was devoted almost entirely to discussion. Thus, this conference was an experiment to see if this type of meeting would be more valuable than that usually held. 

At this type of meeting one becomes keenly aware of the controversial and unsolved problems that exist in the field under discussion. To put these problems in better perspective, I should like to spend some time discussing three points (1) areas of agreement which have been reached in the field of free radical oxidation (2) problems which are definitely unsettled at the moment, and about which there appears to be appreciable controversy (3) and finally, some of the unknown features of oxidations whose parameters are still not resolved. 

There are other types of meetings, and in general, an applicant can request a meeting at any time to discuss development, scientific, medical, or other concerns regarding product.

The following sections provide specific guidance and more detailed information on each of the three basic types of meetings—pre-IND, EOP2, and pre-NDA or pre-BLA—as well as examples of the CMC issues typically addressed in each of these meetings. 

It is important, from the outset, that all attendees are clear about the nature of the meeting. Dissemination is sometimes criticised for being based on an umealistic and ineffective linear notion of knowledge creation, diffusion and uptake (Scott et al., 2005). As policy processes and networks become more diffuse, open and consultative, there are more opportunities for researchers to make contributions - but this requires dissemination. The accessibility of scientific knowledge can be enhanced through various types of meeting and publication/web site, and the careful use of mass media. Translators of science - as well as scientists themselves - can play significant roles. 

The goal of the meeting usually determines the type of meeting, moderators and speakers, and the audience. It is critical that this be clearly defined by the company or obtained from the organization. Table... 

Once the goal or goals of the meeting are determined and agreed, then the type of conference or meeting will determine its format. Table 32.2 shows some of the most frequent types of meetings and Table 32.3, typical participants.
