Transformative Agenda

Nonetheless, significant flaws persist, as demonstrated by the weak coordination of the response to the 2011 Haiti earthquake and Pakistan floods. The Emergency Relief Coordinator has now launched a Transformative Agenda, with a particular focus on strengthening and accelerating response in the critical early phase of a Level 3 (Le. large-scale) emergency, and introduced specific measures to reinforce the three pillars of leadership, coordination, and accountability...

The transformation story forms the core of the program architecture. The highest level is the corporate vision, the key transformation theme. Beneath it are the core performance themes (typically three to six). Closest to the ground are the individual initiatives that should deliver the happy ending - about five to ten for each theme. These concrete initiatives turn the change agenda into reality at the front lines and make it tangible. 

One of the crucial steps in this transformation will be training a new generation of biologists who are both computational scientists and laboratory scientists. This major challenge requires both vision and hard work vision to set an appropriate agenda for the computational biologist of the future and hard work to develop a curriculum and textbook.

National Socialism s social-revolutionary agenda was highly contradictory. It simultaneously espoused modern and anti-modern sentiment revolutionary in a political sense, at the level of the transformation of society it was inconsistent. While putting forward an anti-urban, anti-industrial, anti-feminist vision, at the same time it can be argued that Nazi Germany was the apotheosis of the modern, technological state. The only consistent policy was that of extreme racist nationalism, and it is the commitment to racial purity that was the only truly revolutionary element of National Socialism.
