Trade schools

Textile Evening Trade School, 351 West 18th St., New York, N. Y. Jon B. Leder, principal. 

When next we see her, she is transformed into a stereotypical girl of the 1940s, vacuuming and baking with her mom as they prepare for the hero s return. She talks to her parents about going to a trade school, angering her mother and causing her father to turn away. 

The climax of the film comes when she overhears her brother talking with a customer about his plans to expand the garage. "Atta boy Once a fella knows what he wants to do. .. " the customer enthuses. The girl takes this in, squares her shoulders, and goes off to fill out applications to the trade schools. The rest of the action briefly develops both the love story and the actions she takes toward her goal. 

Because the main character s objective throughout is very clear—to get to trade school—the writer/director could have made a 15-minute film had she... 

Church published three books, which were then compiled into his basic text Mechanics of engineering. This epoch-making work went through a number of editions and became one of the most widely used textbooks of the United States. In addition to his various books. Church also published in technical journals. He was the founder of the technical school as opposed to the trade school. He donated to Cornell University the Fuertes Laboratory, including a 12-inch telescope lens. He further established in 1917 the Irving P. Church Fund for Cornell alumni to purchase books. Painting was one of his favorite diversions in his later years, and his house was filled with his copies of masterpieces. 

Laser technicians are needed in a variety of fields including medical, business, and entertainment. Many of these positions require some training beyond high school at a community college or trade school. Dermatologists and other medical specialists often employ technicians to perform laser procedures. If a company employs a number of laser technicians, supervisory positions may be available.
