Torque converter adjustable

If improperly handled, the hydraulic torque converter may fall. Once the goods rack is removed, the hydraulic torque converter cannot get orientation. If the torque converter leans forwards, the oil will leak from the torque converter and transmission pump. It will be difficult to replace the hydraulic torque converter, because the oil quantity needs to be adjusted again after the re-installation of the torque converter. It needs training and technology to replace the torque converter correctlv. After re-installation of the torque converter, the oil quantity needs to be adjusted, and the external surplus oil shall be cleaned. [Pg.79]

By the oil inlet of torque converter, PRV also adjust the oil supply of hydraulic torque converter. The level effect of PRV should ensure the priority of valve, i.e. it can keep the line pressure in low engine speed condition. When the speed of engine is increased and the pump supplies excess oil, the PRV acts to open the torque converter oil inlet cover to increase the pressure of torque converter. If the oil amount is beyond the requirement of transmission, PRV will act further to allow the oil return... [Pg.96]

Figure 192 represents eccentric or crank-type drives that convert rotary motion to linear, reciprocating movement. The mechanisms feature a small final rate of pressing speed (approaching bottom dead center) and high loading with low torque at maximum compression (at bottom dead center). The stroke can be adjusted on the eccentric cam or Pitman link. Normally, this method is used when force is applied from only one side and, typically, it drives the top punch. [Pg.231]

DC motor drives have always offered high torque at all speeds and exact control of motion speed. AC induction motors have reliably converted electricity into rotary power for many years, and recently adjustable-frequency controls add variable-speed capability. While AC motors were originally relegated to relatively simple tasks, such as varying the flow rates of fans or pumps, advances in both motor and control technologies have allowed their use in higher performance operations. They are reliable sources of fixed-speed and variable-speed rotating power. Electric drives with appropriate closed-loop control operate only when required. However, to avoid unsuccessful apphca-tions, it is important to properly match the load, motor, and controller. [Pg.217]
