The Simulation for Desorption Regeneration and Verification

The model equations for desorption are the same as in Sect. 6.2, and the object of simulation is the same as in Sect. 6.1.5, i.e., experimental desorption of methylene chloride from sohd adsorbent by Hwang [13]. 

The concentration profiles of the regeneration (desorption) column at different times are shown in Fig. 6.18. 

The simulated regeneration curve by using standard Reynolds mass flux model is shown in Fig. 6.19. 

The simulated profiles of the purge gas temperatiue along the column at different times are given in Fig. 6.20.
