Target Ligands and Aims of this Chapter

In this work five symmetric hgands were prepared in order to create functional mimics for phosphoesterase enzymes. The hgands were prepared as described in Chap. 2. They contain either a methyl- (L2 hgand) or phenyl- (L3 hgand) ether, replacing the potentially nucleophilic alcohol moiety in a previously reported hgand, CH3H3LI (Fig. 4.4) [30]. [Pg.93]
