Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of Nanoparticles

Nanoparticles have been widely used in optical, resonant, electrical, and magnetic fields. The small size effect, large surface effect, and quantum tunnel effect demonstrate the unique properties of nanoparticles. It is necessary to study the techniques of nanoparticle preparation to meet the developments in nanotechnology and nanomaterials. In this section, we describe work carried out in our laboratory on the syntheses of several nanoparticles and nanocomposites and the study of their properties. [Pg.16]

In Chapter 1, Synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanoparticles, Dahman et al. present an up-to-date overview regarding the rapid development of the fabrication of nanoparticles over the last two decades that has driven tremendous advances on the field. [Pg.511]

This chapter is the collection of four case studies on nanomaterials Synthesis, characterization and application The main objectives of these case studies are to promote interdisciplinary research on synthesis, characterization and application of nanoparticles, their composites. [Pg.319]
