Supplementary capsules

Supplementary capsules have been or will be inserted, depending on the reactor series, to monitor the operating conditions of the vessels after completion of their initial surveillance program, obtain aging data at fluences higher than those foreseen after the fourth 10 year operating period, and support the life prolongation assessment.

Both vehicles are also usable for some other benzodiazepines. Temazepam 10 mg in 2 mL of the glycofurol mixture, administrated to healthy volunteers, had a bioavailability equivalent to an orally administered capsule of 10 mg temazepam [4]. In this study the enema was preserved with methyl parahydroxybenzoate (0.15 %). However, a vehicle containing such high percentages of glycofurol and ethanol does not need this supplementary preservation. 

Two preparations of Cordyceps, called Jinshuibao and Jinshukang are produced by Jiangxi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. The Jinshuibao capsule Cordyceps have equal effects as the Cordyceps sinensis drug. It is used for the treatment of chronic bronchitis, sexual dysfunction, hyperlipemia, menstrual disorder, pains in the loins and abdomen, leucorrhea, senile weakness, cardiovascular diseases, liver cirrhosis, and in supplementary tumor treatment. In 56 cases with cancer, Jinshuikang capsule significantly improved the immune functions and raised the quality of life of the patients [35]. As shown in Table 8, the immune and humoral cell functions are markedly increased after treatment [36].
