It is the one which has been patented and licensed to Society Meile-Bezons in 1958 by the Sugar Research Foundation, Inc. This process was studied and developed, at that time in cooperation with Ladoga, and was industrialized in 1963, Melle-Bezons has been acquired by RhSne-Poulenc and this is the reason why sucroglycerides actually are sold by the Fine Chemicals Division of this company.
