Styrofoam buckets

Styrofoam buckets with lids can be a safer form of short-term storage and conveyance of cryogenic liquids than glass vacuum Dewars. Although they do not insulate as well as Dewar flasks, they eliminate the danger of inplosion. [Pg.134]

If no such Dewar container is available, two appropriately sized plastic buckets with a layer of styrofoam particles between the inner and outer bucket can be used. [Pg.112]
