Stealing

The one source Strike does not condone is theft. If you steal then you are a weasel and a coward.

It is illustrated in Section 3.4.4 by tracing the paths for leaking engine compression and applied to fault tree construction for the FFTF reactor Fullwood and Erdmann, 1974). The method involves writing Boolean equations for all paths whereby hazardous material may be released. It is primarily useful for enumerating release paths, but not for what started the release It was used to enumerate the possible paths for stealing nuclear bomb material from a facility.

Zara is eight and lives at home with her two brothers and her mother. Her elder brother is 14 and often smokes cannabis at home when his mother is out. He steals things from the local shops to sell at school to raise the money to buy his cannabis. Zara loves her brother and has read that smoking cannabis could make him very ill. She tried telling her brother to stop using cannabis and he got very angry and told her to mind her own business. 

Jo and Harry are both I I. They regularly skip school and spend the day in the local town centre.They hang around the shops and often shoplift food and sweets. They have been chased by security officers on a couple of occasions but have not been caught yet. Jo s older brother has found out about the boys activities and has threatened Jo that he will tell their parents if they do not steal things for him.

Crystal is 12 and regularly steals from the shops in the shopping centre. She sometimes sells stolen things at her school. Some of the other pupils ask her to steal them particular things and they pay her for them.Joni is also 12 and tells her mother about Crystal.Joni s mother tells her to ask Crystal to get her some expensive perfume and she will pay her. 

Robain is I I and has recently moved to live in this country with his parents and younger brother. His English is steadily improving but he still has a noticeable accent and sometimes has difficulty making himself understood. He had a lot of friends in his former country and wants to make friends here. He tries to join in with a group of other boys but they make fun of the way he speaks. He persists and eventually the leader of this group tells him that he can join them if he pays a forfeit first. He tells Robain that he must steal a big bottle of cider from the local shop for them all to share.
