In Chapter 4 the spreading of liquid drops over thin porous layers saturated with the same hquid (Section 4.1) or dry (Section 4.1) was investigated in the case of complete wetting. Brinkman s equations were used for the description of the liquid flow inside the porous substrate. [Pg.390]

In this section we take up the same problem in the case where a drop spreads over a dry porous layer as in partial wetting.
