Spectral morphing

Key words dye concentration measurement, Beer-Lambert law, real-time monitoring and control, spectral additivity, spectral morphing. [Pg.206]

The f. are constant for a given dye (no spectral morphing) (Giinay and Jasper,... [Pg.210]

To achieve a stable dyeing, it is important to quantify the homogeneity of the dye and to use these data to predict the performance of the dye in the dyeing. Spectral morphing is an indication that components of a dye are exhausting at different rates, which can lead to levelness and shade matching issues. [Pg.217]

Plate VII (Chapter 8) Spectrum of the dyebath for Remazol Black reactive dyeing. The change in shape is due to spectral morphing. [Pg.259]

The constellations were gone. In their place, a closer group of stars, each with a spectral light and a shimmering corona of rainbow flame. Their spherical surfaces were fluid, morphing like fiery bubbles, with lives of their own. [Pg.162]

Equally important, the spectral features in the conduction band states in the XAS spectrum, and the valence band states in the SXPS spectrum in Fig. 10 are qualitatively and quantitatively the same as those in (1) Fig. 8.13 of [13], and (2) a morphing of that figure into Fig. 1 of this paper. This morphed version extends beyond the ionic limit of Fig. 8.13, and has been simplified in detail similar to Fig. 2.8 of [14], We will also use a more symbolic extension of Fig. 1, as a basis for discussing the d-state features in monoclinic, tetragonal and cubic Hf02 and Zr02. [Pg.783]

Each sound grain produced by Chaosynth is composed of several spectral components. Each component is a waveform produced by a digital oscillator which needs two parameters to function frequency (Hz) and amplitude (dB). In Chaosynth, the oscillators can produce various types of waveforms such as sinusoid, square, sawtooth, and band-limited noise. The CA control the frequency and duration values of each grain, but the amplitude values are set up by the user beforehand via Chaosynth s Oscillators panel. The system can, however, interpolate between two different amplitude settings in order to render sound morphing effects. [Pg.109]
