Spectral complementary colors

Nori Spectral colors are those falling inside the triangle STC. They are defined by their complementary wavelength and purity. 

The complementary wavelength can be found by drawing a line from the color point, through ICI C to the boundary of the chromaticity diagram. The complementary wavelength is the spectral wavelength read at that point. 

In general terms, a colored filter attenuates the influence of the color complementary to it, and favors the spectral band corresponding to its own color.
