G4 DNA forms in regions of c-myc where translocation breakpoints cluster. The human c-myc locus is diagrammed, with exons 1, 2, and 3 indicated as boxes, and start sites of transcription from promoters PO, PI, and P2 marked. Heavy lines indicate translocation breakpoints identified in B cell lymphomas, and region, which forms G-loops upon transcription
