That s what a cleaning machine does, it implements a designed process — a series of steps which together manage soil concentration and location. That process must be designed to get the soil off the parts and then concentrate it for efficient disposal, effect that disposal, and refine dean solvent so the process can be repeated. This is the first aspect of the basic prindple above.

Use a multi-step cleaning process within an enclosed vacuum machine (see Chapter 2), and a suitable apparatus for control of "tailpipe" solvent emissions of the (see Chapter 4). This option allows any solvent (including the solvent being considered above for substitution) to be used at any temperature, with exceedingly limited emissions or exposure to workers. All three of the above capabilities are provided. The drawbacks to this option are (1) increased investment required to purchase such a machine, and (2) increased investment and attention to purchase and operate the necessary emission management system.
