Solids recovery rate calculation

High Purity and High Recovery Rate are Attainable in One Cycle. In an isothermal operation, experimental results showed that high purity was easily obtainable and tne recovery rate was quite close to those calculated from phase diagrams in many mixtures. For examples, in the initial stage of the experiments, the 80/20 p-,m-xylene mixture was divided into 99% p-form solid and 22-25% p-form liquid without sweating. The recovery rates to the feed reached 70-75%,which were almost the same as the calculated values. [Pg.140]

Each test run in any test programme requires a number of basic calculations depending upon the source of the data. The formulae required are given in Chapter 4. Which calculations are necessary depend upon what instrumentation is installed on the test facility. For instance, if centrate rate is measured then the feed rate needs to be calculated, and if the feed rate is measured then centrate rate has to be calculated.
