Silhouette test

F. Silhouette Test. In this test a bomb is dropped into the center of a series of wooden boards or panels arranged in open rectangular formation, 15 by 45 ft, and the number of fragments passing thru the panels is detd. The panels are of the same size as in the previous test. The number and distribution of fragments are recorded (Ref 1, p213)... 

The 3D representation of the test object can be rotated by means of an ARCBALL interface. Clicking on the main client area will produce a circle which is actually the silhouette of a sphere. Dragging the mouse rotates the sphere, and the model moves aceordingly. An arc on the surface of the sphere is drawn for visual feedback of orientation additionally a set of coordinate axes in the bottom left comer provides further feedback. 

A 50-year-old woman is seen in the emergency department complaining of a severe headache, shortness of breath, and ankle edema. Her vision is blurry and her blood pressure is 200/140 mm Hg. A blood test reveals azotemia and proteinuria. A chest radiograph reveals an enlarged cardiac silhouette. Is this a hypertensive emergency, and if so what pharmacological treatment might be considered ... 

The weapon and chassis came through this initial test with moderate success. The mortar mount suffered some damage and the blast effect against the sides of the vehicle proved exceedingly uncomfortable to the gun crew. But it appears that little subsequent use was made of the self-propelled mortar. Its size and silhouette precluded emplacement where close support weapons were needed. And any weapon which attracted too much enemy fire was not popular with the infantry. ...
