Semi-logarithmic paper

The t /7 of a radioisotope is determined by plotting the radioactivity (or disintegration rate) as a function of time on a semi-logarithmic paper. The slope of the resulting straight line is equal to X. The t a of the radioisotope may then be calculated from the above expression.

In the course of research to develop a more efficient water-soluble polymer viscosity builder, we discovered that a very few types of water-soluble polymers exhibited a most unusual and very interesting prcq)erty not previously observed.
