The Rhythm Test is a subtest of the Seashore Test of Musical Talent. The child is instructed to respond with a same or different to indicate which of 30 pairs of rhythmic beats are the same and which are different. This test appears to measure alertness to nonverbal auditory stimuli, sustained attention, and the ability to perceive and compare different rhythmic sequences. [Pg.243]
