Screen shot, making

There are three ways to copy from Excel to Word by using Copy and Paste, by using the Camera icon on the toolbar or by making a "screen shot". Each produces a different "product". The first two can be linked dynamically to the source worksheet. [Pg.44]

To make a screen shot of the entire screen, press the Print Screen key, or, to make a screen shot of the active window, press ALT+Print Screen. Then activate Microsoft Word and Paste the graphic (which was captured on the Clipboard) into your Word document. You can move or re-size the graphic in Microsoft Word. To crop a portion of the graphic, youTl have to import the Clipboard contents into a graphics program such as Paintbrush or Photoshop. [Pg.46]

On the screen, you can easily create a chart with a smaller inset chart by superimposing the smaller chart on the main chart, but it s a little more difficult to transfer the result to paper. Once you ve positioned the inset chart on the main chart, if you try to use Excel s Copy command, you can select and copy only one or the other of the two charts. There are two ways to produce a graphic containing both charts you can either make a "screen shot" (see "Making a Screen Shot " in Chapter 1) of the two superimposed charts, or you can copy the inset chart as a picture and paste it on the main chart. [Pg.129]

Initially, an afternoon course in web-design using Microsoft FrontPage was given. FrontPage is included in some editions of Microsoft Office, used on our campus. As seen from the screen-shot in Fig, 2 it is very user-friendly, especially for those familiar with o er MS Office applications such as Word. At present, a 1-h introduction is given only on request for those students not familiar with making a web site. [Pg.348]
