Scissor movement

For instance, water has both vibrational and rotational modes. One vibrational mode is the scissor movement of the hydrogens toward and away from each other. A rotational mode is the spinning of the hydrogens about an imaginary axis through oxygen. Both these modes of motion are shown in figure 1.13.1. 

The str and sci superscripts in the E coordinates correspond to separation into stretch (radial) and scissoring (tangential) movements, respectively. Due to degeneracy, this numerical form is not unique, arbitrary rotations of mixing between 9 and e components being admissible. 

The importance of frictional properties largely exceeds the area of domestic fabric softeners. They are also key in the textile industry, as they condition the slipping of fibers over each other in all mechanical processes [20], Friction causes breakage of threads and generates static electricity. More generally, softened fabrics are pressed and sewed more easily, as there is less resistance to the metal movement. They also relax more quickly at the dry state since fibers slide over one another more easily. However, it is more difficult to cut fabrics with scissors as the blade slips over the fibers and fewer fibers are tom during cutting [20],...

This same type of slitter is also used to cut a wider piece of tape into narrower sections at the exit end of the machine. For example, a 200-mm-wide tape may be slit into four 50-mm strips. Each of the 50-mm strips would then be rolled as a separate entity onto the take-up roller(s). Another type of slitter used to cut a wide tape into sections is based upon the scissors principle—that is, it has two cutter wheels or block knives that overlap each other and shear the tape like a pair of scissors. The block knives on each of these systems are driven and are synchronized with the movement of the tape-cast product. When a wide tape is slit into two or more narrower widths, there are usually two take-up axles. As the slit tape moves from the slitter, alternating strips are diverted to different take-up axles, thus eliminating the possibility of overlap or interference between adjacent rolls. 

At the age of 6 months she visited our hospital complaining of unstable head control. Athetoid movement of hand was observed at the age of one year and 7 months. Ballisms became apparent at the age of 2 years and 9 months. At the age of 5 years her lower lip was partially lost, and further, mild dysarthria, athetoid movement. Intermittent scissoring legs and hyperactive deep tendon reflexes were noted. Serum uric acid ranged 7.8-9.5 mg/dl and the urinary uric acid/creatinlne ratio ranged 2.4-3.5.
