Scaling-Up of A Homogeneous Photochemical Reactor With Radiation Absorption

SCALING-UP OF A HOMOGENEOUS PHOTOCHEMICAL REACTOR WITH RADIATION ABSORPTION 

This case will be illustrated with a rather simple reaction in liquid phase the decomposition of low concentrations of formic acid in aqueous solutions employing hydrogen peroxide and UVC radiation (253.7nm). Formic acid is a b)rproduct of the degradation of many organic compounds (Labas et al., 2002).
