Atistech Chemical Du Pont First Chemical Mobay Rubicon... 

According to the U.S. International Trade Commission s Synthetic Organic Chemicals, Production and Sales, 1987, the three manufacturers of diphenylamine are Rubicon, Inc., Aristech Chemical Corp., and Uniroyal Chemical Co. No production figures have been given siace 1974, but U.S. production ia the range of 5,000—10,000 t/yr appears reasonable.

This technology is also used by all Western European aniline producers and all but one Japanese aniline producer.

Mechanical Properties. Stress-strain curves for two of the series studied M-B-40/15-49 and M-E-23/25-48 were done at Rubicon Chemicals (Woodbury, NJ), using the ASTYM D-412 method (tensile properties of rubbers) at a strain rate of 500 mm min"1. Young s modulus was determined from the initial slope of the stress-strain curve of at least two to four samples.
