ROBUST DESIGN AND RESPONSE SURFACE METHODOLOGY

This section will describe how the techniques associated with response surface methodology, outlined in Section 2.2, can be applied to designing a product or process that is insensitive, or robust, to variation that is difficult 

It will be seen that some of the methods for analysis of experiments conducted under the first approach can also be applied to data derived fi om experiments conducted imder the second approach.
