For coughs which are worse at midnight, alternating fever and chills, and a bitter taste in the mouth, add dry Rhizoma Zingiberis (Gan Jiang), Herba Cum Radice Asari (Xi Xin), and Fructus Schizandrae Chinensis Wu Wei Zi). [Pg.40]

For cough, add Fructus Schizandrae Chinensis (Wu Wei Zi) and dry Rhizoma Zingiberis (Gan Jiang) to warm the lungs and scatter cold. [Pg.44]
