Results of the Detector Calibration

The threshold values for the BPIX modules were programmed to the target values determined in the module testing. Afterwards the threshold and the noise were measured using the S-Curve method. An average threshold of 3,829 electrons was found, well above the noise level at 141 electrons. 

The results of the analog pulse height calibration are given in Fig. 8.19. The gain and pedestals are obtained from a linear fit. The tail in the pedestal distribution is due to mlsconfiguration of individual ROCs which was recovered at a later stage of detector calibration.
