The above shows that it is effective to reduce the thickness of the polymer electrolyte and to decrease the CL thickness to maintain a low oxygen diffusion resistance in the polymer electrolyte and a high proton conductivity in the CL. Thus, it is possible to investigate dominant parameters and evaluate suitable structures of the CL for various conditions using the evaluation Equations (1.10) and (1.12).
