Resistively Heated Columns and Column Jackets

These topics encompass separations achieved with a conventional gas chromatograph without appreciable inlet and/or pneumatic modifications, as outlined earlier. Here we discuss how fast gas chromatographic separations can be achieved with a conventional gas chromatograph using one of the following  

Separations achieved with a dedicated gas chromatograph for fast GC (flash gas chromatograph) with a much shorter length of capillary column inserted into a resistively heated column jacket 

A supplemental resistlvely heating element residing on the floor of the column oven contributing to the overall column heating (the GC Racer) 

Chromatographic column installed in a module resistlvely heated and mounted on the door of a conventional gas chromatograph (LTM module)
