REINFORCED HOSE

Hoses must be made for anhydrous ammonia service 2500 kPa (348 psig) working pressure and stamped for this service. In locations where hoses may be abraded, wke braid armored or reinforced hose types should be used. Hose ends should have boss or other acceptable ak kon ferruled couplings. 

Duracryn . [DuPont] Thermoplastic elastomer for inj. molding, extrusion, and blow molding of reinforced hose, flexible and supported tubing, seals, gaskets, mech. goods, profile extrusions, wire and cable jacketing, automotive trim and under-the-hood parts. 

These elastomeric compounds are foimd in a variety of applications, including reinforced hose, seals, gaskets and profile extrusions, flexible and supported tubing, automotive trim, functional parts and imder-the-hood components, mechanical goods, and wire and cable jacketing. 

Many cylinders contain liquefied gas which may be drawn off by connecting to a reinforced hose or line and inverting the cylinder. Strict safety precautions must be observed when carrying out this operation. 

There was a box supporting four levers for controlling the bucket. Hoses from the hydraulic pump entered and left the sides of the box. The hoses were fabric-reinforced hoses. The hoses were about 4 inches from the operator s hand when positioned on the levers. One hose created a very fine stream of hydraulic fluid when it started to fad. The stream sprayed directly to the normal hand position.

For this application, the customer needs a short hose segment for power steering hydrauhc fluid. Because of tight space requirements, the fabric reinforced hose needs to have one compound that wUl resist heat, weathering, and ozone on the outside and mineral based hydraulic fluid inside the hose. The hose will be plied around the braided fabric reinforcement and the plies will be formed by extrusion. Because of the location of an exhaust header near the short section of hose, the operating temperature of the hose will be continuous at 125°C with occasional temperature...
