Reiman, Arnold

Arnold Reiman, professor emeritus at Harvard University and former editor of the New England Journal of Medicine. As a physician and influential editor of a prestigious medical journal, he became a strong critic of the drug industry. In his view, companies have distorted the medical evidence and scientific studies on drug safety and effectiveness and contributed to widespread overuse of prescription drugs. [Pg.123]
