Reduced frequency

To maintain the BSR at less than 5.5, the string of drill collars must frequently be composed of different sizes. For severe drilling conditions (hole enlargement, corrosive environment, hard formations), reduction of the BSR to 3.5 helps to reduce frequency of drill pipe failure.

Oligomenorrhea Reduced frequency of menses with a time interval between periods more than 40 days but less than 6 months.

Both extended spectra are now optimized by trial and error corrections of H(t) in such a way that, over the entire reduced frequency interval, G"(w) calculated by means of [6] approximates G (w) measured, and G (w) measured minus G (constant value. Of course, Equations [5] and [6] are now used with the extended integration limits. With some routine, this procedure yields two optimized spectra after about eight iterative adjustments of the entire extended spectra.

Patients with advances liver cirrhosis often suffer from bacterial overgrowth [175], Chang et al. [176] reported a reduced frequency and rate of migration for migrating motor complexes in patients with liver cirrhosis, alterations that predispose to colonization of the small bowel by Gram-negative bacilli [12],... 

In general, the strategy for reducing risk, whether directed toward reducing frequency or consequence of potential accidents, falls into one of the following four categories ...

In many cases the equations for the longer sequences (tetrads, pentads, etc.) are markedly simplified if they are normalized not on the totality of the sequences but only on those centered on the same letter or group of letters. For example, the reduced frequency of the mmm tetrad with respect to all the m centered tetrads or that of the mmrr pentad with respect to all the mr centered pentads is expressed by quadratic expressions for both the Bernoulli and Markov processes. 

Clonidine is a selective o -adrenergic agonist. Clonidine has expressed hypotensive action, which is associated with a reduction of general peripheral vascular resistance, reduced frequency of cardiac beats, and a reduction of cardiac output. The mechanism of action of clonidine is caused by stimulation of o -adrenoreceptors of the inhibitory structures of the brain as well as a reduction of sympathetic impulses to the blood vessels and brain. 

The next step of therapy is dependent on the clinical response of the patient. If severe symptoms have abated, reduce frequency of administration and dose. 

Renal impairment Use bupropion with caution in patients with renal impairment and consider a reduced frequency or dose. 

Use bupropion with caution in patients with hepatic impairment (including mild to moderate hepatic cirrhosis) and consider a reduced frequency of dosing in patients with mild to moderate hepatic cirrhosis (see Warnings). 

Hepatic function impairment Use with extreme caution in patients with severe hepatic cirrhosis. In these patients, a reduced frequency of dosing is required, as peak bupropion levels are substantially increased and accumulation is likely to occur in such patients to a greater extent than usual. The dose should not exceed 150 mg every other day. 

Leukocyte adhesion deficiency type 2 Same cUnical problems as in type 1. In addition, patients have growth retardation and neurologic defects. Treatment wifii oral fucose reduces frequency of infections. 

Fluorouracil (Efudex, Fluoroplex) is an antimetabolite used for the topical treatment of actinic keratoses. It is also useful for the treatment of superficial basal cell carcinomas when conventional surgical modalities are impractical. Local inflammatory reactions characterized by erythema, edema, crusting, burning, and pain are common (and, some would argue, desirable) but may be minimized by reduced frequency of application or use in combination with a topical corticosteroid.
