The cumulative radiation dose is 90kGy. Following the sequential irradiation and annealing, the outer 1-3 nun of material was removed, and components were machined and packaged for gas plasma sterilization (Sterrad 200, Advanced Sterilization Produces, Irvine, Cahfomia, USA).
