Pulverisette™ mills

The models where two or four batches of powders can be processed in the cylinders mounted on rotating plate were the workhorse instruments in many laboratories. The recent Pulverisette model 7 was designed with larger rotational speeds specially for processing of powders to nanometric-level size. The Fritsch model Pulverisette mills, models 4, 5, and 6, are compatible with an interesting reactor cylinder, in which the cover is equipped with pressure and temperature sensor and a small radiofrequency unit allows for wireless transfer of the sensors data to the receiver interfaced with computer. This GTP (temperature-pressure) system developed... [Pg.31]

Planetary micromill Pulverisette 7, vibration micro pulverizer, Pulverisette 0, rotary speed mill, Pulverisette 14 Fritsch GmbH Laborgeraetebau Industriesstrasse 8 D-6580 Idar Oberstein Germany... [Pg.506]

Powders of zirconia and yttria were alloyed in a Fritsch planetary microball mill Pulverisette 7, as reported previously [13,14]. The resulting specimens were examined by XRD, TEM, SAED and HRTEM with EDS. [Pg.444]

Lyophilized copolymer was ground down to colloidal dimensions (<1 iJim) using a laboratory planetary mill (Pulverisette, Fritsch GmbH). A 110-mg sample of copolymer powder, 20 mg of bovine insulin, and 20 mg of GOD were mixed, and the mixture was compressed into a disk-shaped matrix of 5-mm thickness and 15-mm diameter. [Pg.54]

Rotor speed mill (Pulverisette 14, Fritsh, Germany). [Pg.132]

Mechanical activation of this mixture was carried out in a planetary mill Fritsch Pulverisette - 7. Rotation frequency was 700 rpm, time of treatment was 0.4h-9.5 h. The dependence of tobermorite yield on reagent ratio CaO Si02, varied from 1 2 to 3 1, was investigated, as well as the effect of the amount of added water (water/solid ratio varying from 2 1 to 10 1) and time of treatment. [Pg.88]

The material considered is an iron alloy (Fei.sMo) powder with the ot-Fe bcc structure. The metal powders were ground in a planetary ball mill (Fritsch Pulverisette 4) using tempered Cr steel balls (100Cr6) and jars (X210Crl2, 80 mL volume), with a 10 1 ratio between ball and powder weight. Different powder samples were ball milled in a sealed Ar atmosphere for increasing times, keeping aQ = 300 rpm rotation speed for the main disk and a ratio co/Q = —1.8 between jar revolution and main disk speed. [Pg.396]

Transfer the polymer particles into a mill (e.g. Fritsch Pulverisette O grinding mill) and grind to a fine powder. [Pg.210]
