Project Journey

Elements of personal power that need to be drawn upon for a project journey ... 

From the perspective of a manager seeking to achieve an objective, your personal power Is the engine that takes you on your project journeys from A to B. The basis of this power lies very much In the strength of your determination to achieve the goals you set yourself It Is the resultant of the forces that drive you forward and the forces that hold you back. 

A guide to analysing these forces, in the form of a series of questions relevant to any project journey, is presented In ngure 8.1. Your answers will tell you much about how motivated you will be to exert personal power to reach your Intended destination, and thus what personal power you will in fact have. 

Success in your project journey may require you to intervene to bring the action back on course. Doing this could be... 

Perform the preparative exercises. Project the table and take your place at your siege, robed in indigo and wearing the silver sandals of the Moon. After greeting the Great Companions, rise and go through to the Chapel of the Rose-Croix. There, ask for the protection of the All-Holy upon your journey. 

In conclusion, while the book provides a realistic picture of the range of R D initiatives and projects to develop hydrogen and fuel cells, the high number of technology options under consideration points out that such an effort is only the beginning of a several-decades journey toward a radically changed, sustainable energy system.

Knowledge of the essential registration requirements is mandatory for the planning of a development project. If these are neglected, the development process will be like navigation in unknown waters without a compass or a map. The risk of a shipwreck is high, in any case the journey will take much longer and will cost more. 

Before beginning this journey through the tools for helping the Project Manager do a project right, we need to say a few words about several of the precursors mentioned above ...
