Project evaluation computer programs

Throughout the project the Penn State staff was assisted and guided by members of the Project Steering Committee. These individuals provided technical advice, critical analysis of the model evaluations and computer programs, additional data references, moral support, and, of course, financial support. Without their generous contributions of time and resources this Handbook would not have become a reality. [Pg.188]

One important aspect of the project has been the writing of a general purpose computer program which will aid the laboratory chemist and will employ both the basic and more complex techniques for synthetic design as elucidated by this study. The program (hereafter also called LHASA) is intended to propose a variety of synthetic routes to whatever molecule it is given. The responsibility for final evaluation of the merit of the routes lies with the chemist. The program is to be an adjunct to the laboratory chemist as much as any analytical tool. [Pg.1]

At Tufts University School of Medicine, the institute supports a collaborative drug surveillance program as a model for reporting adverse drug reactions. This project is intended to identify and characterize untoward drug reactions in man by prospective study and to evaluate drug efficacy in a large patient population. A flowing coaxial region of air. such as on an actual engine, has not yet been investigated on the partially confined initiator geometry, but it is to be evaluated on the next phase of this project. The presence of turbulence and increased kinetic energy should improve the overall transmission properties.
