Procurement group

The first part is comprised of from one to three capital letters identifying the Federal procurement group to which the items belong. 

The third part is the serial number determined by its alphabetical location within the procurement group. Thus, L-P-395B covers Plastic Molding (and Extrusion) Material, Nylon, Glass Fiber Reinforced . 

An organisation such as the example above includes sub groups for each of the main activities and a support (or services) group to manage information and procurement. Auditing commitments may be fulfilled by an independent in-house team or by external auditors. 

Other specialist groups will be responsible for cost estimation, and the purchase and procurement of equipment and materials. 

The groups are not exhaustive in representing all possible clay procurement and manufacturing localities for pottery sampled in the archaeological survey. Approximately one-third of the initially considered sherds - those characterized by medium to fine quartz sand - were not amenable to independent grouping or to membership in the established reference units. 

Different groups of customers may introduce different requirements due to different levels of awareness of quality assurance and laboratoiy reliability issues. Competent authorities with a responsibility for the implementation of the legislation e.g. health, safety, envirorunental issues, organizations involved in procurements, the industry and individuals may have different requirements. 

The trend seen with TATP has been recently mirrored with other highly dangerous mixtures. As commercial explosives become more difficult to procure, by both legitimate and illicit means, terrorist groups determined to conduct bombing operations are forced to work with more dangerous and unpredictable formulations. A prime example of this can be seen in the major bombings carried out in Indonesia over the last two and a half years. 

ANALYSIS (Chemical). Analytical chemistry is that branch of chemistry concerned with the detection and identification of the atoms, ions, or radicals (groups of atoms which react as a unit) of which a substance is composed, the compounds which they form, and the proportions of these compounds present in a given substance. The work of the analyst begins with sampling, since analyses are performed upon small quantities of material. The validity of the result depends upon the procurement of a sample that is representative of the bulk of material ill question (which may be as large as a carload or tankload). 

The groups found in this project display variation in their chemical composition. Because sources were not analyzed in this study, the variation in the sources cannot be quantified. However, the variation in die groups implies different procurement practices or variation within the procurement site.
