Priority unit operation, selection

Selection of Priority Unit Operation. Although the material balance should he set up for all the unit operations, the unit operation most important from the point of view of waste generation must be idem died and efforts are concentrated for that particular unit operation. This can be done by professional judgment and technical know-how of the audit team and specihcally the production personnel. [Pg.145]

The basic idea of the scheduling method is very simple. In each iteration we schedule one eligible operation, which is selected based on priority values. The operation is started at the earliest point in time at which the minimum and maximum time lags of the network are satisfied, the operation can be executed on the processing unit, and a sufficient amount of input materials is available. The operations of a strong component are eligible to be scheduled if (i), all of those operations predecessors in the network out-... [Pg.160]

Some features of this scheme restrict its more wide application. The most fimdamnental is that such a sequence of operations does not disclose the role of individual steps and species of the kinetie model. Absenee of ehemieal obviousness in the calculation unit complicates the very proeess on the selection of the priority of the influence on chemical reaction, therewith it does not permit to refer to the strueture of molecules and the chemistry of their conversion. [Pg.71]

STD-Bus Single Board Computer. One intended for embedded applications where performance, size, and reliability are high priorities shall be employed. Its microprocessor and its large on-board selection of the most commonly needed peripheral devices enable it to operate as an effective stand-alone single board computer. It carries the PROM burned with the stand-alone software of the trip unit. [Pg.24]
