The incorporation of macroheterocyclic compounds and their derivatives in polymer structures leads to the obtaining of polymers with specific behavor upon complex formation [3,11,12]. Polyurethane-semicarbazides comprising crown ether sulfonyl derivatives in the main chain were obtained by a conventional two-stage method [13-16]. The structure of the repeat unit of the resulting crown ether-containing thermoplastic elastomers XXI can be represented as  [Pg.360]

The crown ether-containing thermoplastic elastomers obtained are soluble in amide solvents (DMF, DMA, DMSO). Their intrinsic viscosity, [rj, is within the range of 0.22 to 0.41 dL/g (in DMF at 25°C). [Pg.361]
