Polypropylene Glycols and Other Alcohol Ethers

Polypropylene glycol ethers are developed by Dow Chemical Company. The general expression of polypropylene glycol ether frothers is as follows  [Pg.120]

Polypropylene glycol ethers can be synthesized by adopting epoxy alkyls and related alcohol as raw materials. For example, the preparation of polypropylene glycol from etherepoxy ethane can be given as follows  [Pg.120]

Dowfroth 200 and Dowfroth 250 are both synthesized by adopting etherepoxy propane and methanol as raw materials. [Pg.121]

The molecular weight of polypropylene glycol is 140-2100. It is reported that aerofroth 65 is a polypropylene glycol. [Pg.121]
