Polyester-acrylic fiber blends, dyeing

Polyester Fibei Acrylic Fiber Blends. This fiber blend is dyed ia a similar fashion to that of the blends of the different polyester fibers. The selection of cationic dyes is substantially larger for the acryhc blend. 

REMOL ASN liquid has an excellent dispersing and compatibil-izing action in one-bath dyeing of wool or polyamide blends with acrylic fibers using anionic and cationic dyes and in dyeing polyester/acrylic fibers with disperse and cationic dyes. 

Sulfur dyes are used mainly for dyeing textile cellulosic materials or blends of cellulosic fibers (qv) with synthetic fibers such as acrylic fibers, polyamides (nylons), and polyesters. They are also used for silk (qv) and paper (qv) in limited quantities for specific applications. Solubilized sulfur dyes are used on certain types of leathers (qv). 

Carib Pad Colors. [Carib Int l.] Pad dyeing colors for dyeing polyester, cotton, glass fiber, rayon, acrylic, mod-acrylic and synthetic/natural fiber blends. 

Fibers used in the manufacture of apparel are predominantly cotton, wool, polyester, acrylic, and rayon. The fibers are used in both woven and knitted form with the exception of acrylic fibers, which are principally used for knitwear. Fiber blends are a feature of many items of apparel wear (e.g., polyester-rayon for corporate and evening wear, polyester-cotton for shirts, and polyester-wool for suits). Technologies for dyeing the two-fiber blends are well established. However, there can be some issues with effluent. 

Uses Resist agent for direct dyes on acetate, polyester, and acrylic fibers wetting agent penetrant aids removal of residual size on woven fabrics suitable for other rayon blends... 

Use Levei 0.5-10% owg (scouring) 0.5-10% owg (one-bath scouring/dyeing of polyester or acrylic fibers and acryllc/cellulosic blends) 0.5-1.0 g/l (wetting for exhaust and continuous systems) 0.5-2.0 g/l (rewettIng)...
