Polishing powders

At the simplest level, nanoparticles of hard substances are useful as polishing powders which are able to give very smooth, defect-free surfaces. Because of the possibility of coatings appearing on the sohd membrane surface in time, it is necessary to polish the surface occasionally with a recommended polishing powder.
