In the period of consolidation of the Polish Chemical Society, its publishing activity was limited to two periodicals Roczniki Chemii (Annals of Chemistry), the successor of the Chemik Polski (The Polish Chemist, established 1901), and Przemysl Chemiczny (Chemical Industry), successor of Metan (Methane, published in Lemberg from 1916). The Chemik published original contributions and review papers, annual activity reports of the PTCh, biographies and jubilee papers, as well as reviews and notes on new publications in chemistry.
